Valentine's Day comes once a year. On the one hand, this means you have plenty of time to plan a special day for your other half, but on the other, it means that after a few years together you might be hard pushed to come up with original date ideas for the special day. Luckily, The Consiton Hotel have cut the hard work out for you and brought you four unique experiences for you and your partner:

Romance retreat

An absolute classic, and guaranteed to impress. This is an overnight hotel stay, an hour long couples massage, chocolates and fizz on arrival, dinner, and even a breakfast if you're hungry the morning after. It's romantic, it's relaxing, it's decadent - it's perfect.

Time for two spa day

A glass of pink fizz, a thermal experience, a couples massage or facial, lunch in the Brasserie Bar, and a stem rose and box of chocolates to take home.A chance to relax and bring out your inner romantic.

Drive Him Crazy

Maybe this Valentine's day, you're after something that'll get the adrenaline rushing and the blood pumping. Well there's nothing better for that than a 4x4 off-road driving experience on the tracks at the Coniston. Great for couples or groups, everyone gets a 60-minute stint behind the wheel.

Falconry Experience

Best enjoyed with breakfast or lunch, spend a February morning or afternoon with some absolutely magnificent birds of prey for a truly unique and awe inspiring Valentines Day treat - it's unlikely to be something your other half has done before! There are even tales of Barn Owls being used in an engagement or two...

Once you've had an experience to never forget, whether in the spa or in a car, you can indulge in a meal in one of the fabulous dining venues at The Coniston Hotel.
