Skipton fish and chip restaurant Bizzie Lizzie's is taking part in unusual romantic drama 'Chip Shop Chips' in Skipton Town Hall this weekend.

If you thought theatre snacks were limited to popcorn and small tubs of ice cream? Wrong!

This Sunday 25th February 2018 Skipton Town Hall and a sold out audience of 80 guests will welcome touring play Chip Shop Chips from Box of Tricks Theatre. And one of the more unusual aspects of the evening will be the interactivity of the audience as they eat a fish and chip dinner whilst the performance is happening.

Local fish and chip restaurant Bizzie Lizzie's was the first choice of Skipton organisers, and owner Katie Davison was thrilled to receive the call asking for them to be the chosen supplier of Britain's favourite takeaway at the one off event.

It's definitely not the first time Bizzie Lizzie's have been asked to do some high pressure mass catering; they are also key providers of fish and chips for 140 people during the Bolton Abbey and Embsay steam train journeys during the Summer, and regularly cater for parties and weddings.

And in case you wanted just ONE MORE reason to pop into the High Street Car Park restaurant or the Swadford Street restaurant, Bizzie Lizzie's are also finalists!

Beth Parsons from Stray FM's Food and Drink Show talked to Katie at Bizzie Lizzie's in Skipton as well as Amy Fisher the producer of Chip Shop Chips.
