If you have a food intolerance, one of the last meals you probably think of is fish and chips. Class One Direct who supply wholesale fruit and veg, dairy and dried goods to restaurants and hotels met Stray FM's Beth Parsons at Bizzie Lizzie's in Skipton to chat about increasing their gluten free range of products.

Award Winning

Bizzie Lizzie's in Skipton is home to award winning fish and chips and Class One Direct currently supply the salad you can choose to accompany your meal of choice when at the Craven based restaurants.

Recently, Bizzie Lizzie's gluten free option when it comes to a fish supper, has received incredibly good feedback from customers and with the number of food intolerance cases on the rise, Class One Direct are planning to offer their customers the necessary produce to satisfy the needs of such dietary requirements.

Class One Direct

Fruit and Veg for the seasons

As Katie from Bizzie Lizzie's explained to Stray FM, people may choose a gluten free option not only for a health reason, but because they simply find it lighter on their stomach. Customers are also opting for salad with their chips in order to reduce the number of calories they're consuming and that's where Class One Direct come into the fold as they are experts at providing fresh seasonal produce, from local farmers too. With the weather still very much in a winter mood, root vegetables are on the menu but salad season is just around the corner and Joe from Class One is very excited to be able to offer gluten and dairy free produce such as pasta and bread.
