When thousands of Harrogate Town FC spectators arrive for match day at the CNG Stadium most of them need food and drink, and the team is proud to serve some of the best pitch-side delights in the area.

On Sunday 13th May, Harrogate Town FC took on Brackley at the CNG Stadium on Wetherby Road in Harrogate, the biggest match in their history. They triumphed with promotion!

But with every match day, the need to feed and water the crowd is a high priority for the football ground, something which they are proud to explain is a cut above most sports stadiums.

Whether it's a burger to grab and go, or a leisurely lunch in the hospitality area there is no shortage of choice and with most food being sourced locally made fresh on site or at nearby restaurants.

Ian from the award-winning Burgers and More on King Road, Harrogate who have been supplying the pitch with high quality fast food for the past year says "People seem to be stigmatized with we'll go to a game of football or a sports fixture and we'll accept what you're given, your stereotypical frozen food. What we do it's fresh."

If you're after a sit down meal in the hospitality area, as Hamilton the hospitality manager of the 1919 venue at the CNG Stadium home of Harrogate Town FC explains, a range of carvery and hot food options are available.

And for the moment when a pint feels right, the Harrogate Town Beer produced by Greenside keeps the thirst at bay.

Beth Parsons went along to a match day to find out more about the food and drink on offer at the CNG Stadium for Harrogate Town FC fans and talked to Ian from Burgers and More, Hamilton from 1919 and a range of spectators.
