The Best Customer Service award, which was sponsored by Tyro Training,  was designed for those who deserve recognition for outstanding customer service and could have been won by an individual, shop, office or any other business. But for 2018 it was the restaurant industry who took top place, when Bizzie Lizzie's fish and chip restaurant in Skipton won.

Bizzie Lizzie's have two restaurant and takeaway locations in Skipton - one on Swadford Street and one at the High Street Car Park.

Why did Bizzie Lizzie's in Skipton win the Best Customer Service award?

Nominations were received by Stray FM from the public and customers of the fish and chip restaurant before the final decision was made by a panel of judges made up of local VIP's, Stray FM staff and the award sponsors.

Let's read some of the nominations that helped Bizzie Lizzie's to win the award.

  • They have very friendly and helpful staff, lovely food and always give us a table in the window overlooking the canal.
  • Great food, superb service and all at the right price. Great gluten free options too.
  • We usually have the Senior citizens special deal which is cheaper than the regular meals. They also have a great selection of desserts which is unusual in a chippie.
  • Fabulous service and guaranteed great food in the restaurant and to takeaway. I’ve been going for years and it never disappoints.
  • They bend over backwards to accommodate everyone and will do all they can to ensure you have a fantastic experience. In my opinion nothing is too much trouble and the fish is delicious!
  • Their customer service and quality of product are second to none in Skipton, the staff always make you feel welcome.
