Bake for Heroes

Yorkshire bakers are being encouraged by TV cake maker to join in with a big fundraising week in June this year.

Taking place on Armed Forces week 22-29th June 2019, armed forces charity Help For Heroes is aiming to raise money to help heroes, veterans and their families.

Join in with Bake For Heroes!

Known for her stunning cake designs and towering edible displays, Rosie Dummer has been seen on Channel 4's Extreme Cake Makers.

She is on board with the Bake For Heroes Week and even supplied her very own favourite lemon drizzle cake recipe for those looking for a bit of cake inspiration.

She is also a big fan of Yorkshire and our attitude to homemade baking with a specific reference to our lovely Betty's!

"We're trying to get people to not only relieve their stress through baking, but to bring people together, to have a sense of community, and to end up with a win-win really - the baking, the sharing, the eating, and hopefully raising a little bit of money for a really good cause."
