A Harrogate man's fundraising efforts have been described as "phenomenal".

Alan Williams has handed over £25,000 to Macmillan Cancer Support after taking part in this year's London Marathon.

He, Andy Wray and Stray FM's Patrick Dunlop travelled more than 200 miles with a purpose-built rickshaw to get there.

Alan launched the 'Time To Say Thank You' challenge after his wife Jean survived breast cancer:
