A Harrogate author is showing her gratitude to the staff who treated her for breast cancer.

Jackie Buxton has decided to donate one third of the profits from sales of her new book, 'Tea & Chemo: Fighting Cancer, Living Life', to Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust's Sir Robert Ogden Macmillan Centre.

The book is a mixture of Jackie's thoughts and experiences, documenting everything from wigs, Chemo Cough and twitchy legs to a premature menopause and what not to say when someone tells you they have cancer.

There's also a section devoted to the positive stories of people who've had a brush with cancer and are still around to tell the tale many years later.

Jackie has been telling Stray FM more about the book:

'Tea & Chemo: Fighting Cancer, Living Life' is available on Amazon.
