WATCH: Harrogate charity opens its doors for World Mental Health Day

To mark World Mental Health Day, a Harrogate Charity has opened its doors to raise awareness. 

Claro Enterprises in Starbeck supports people with long-term mental health problems like schizophrenia and depression.

The charity runs a commercial workshop making crafts out of MDF, giving users the opportunity to work in a safe environment.

A number of charities and organisations are marking World Mental Health Day. It's estimated 1 in 4 people will a year will experience poor mental health. Within North Yorkshire, that is more than the combined population of Harrogate and Scarborough, or equivalent to the entire population of Craven, Richmondshire and Ryedale.
