A young cancer sufferer from Harrogate has been sharing her story to highlight the support of a Yorkshire charity.

Candlelighters is working with Stray FM as part of this year's Giving Tree Appeal.

Caitlin Gott, 16, was diagnosed with leukaemia not long after starting secondary school and underwent around two-and- a-half years of treatment.

During that time, she and her family were supported by the charity.

Caitlin has been telling her story on Stray FM's Nick Hancock at Breakfast:

If you want to support this year's appeal, you can leave a gift (unwrapped) at drop-off points at Morrisons in Starbeck and Dawson's Department Store in Skipton.
