The truth about anorexia

The truth about anorexia

Published at 3:55pm 19th December 2017.

A Harrogate woman who has suffered with anorexia nervosa for 20 years, has been raising awareness about eating disorders, following a charity event in Montpellier Quarter.

On December 14th businesses in Montpellier Quarter supported a special evening called 'People Meet The People', an evening organised by Antonia Sutcliffe of Sutcliffe Galleries. All proceeds went to Beat, a national charity which supports people who suffer from eating disorders.

A huge amount of local support made the evening a big success including Slingsby Gin of Spirit of Harrogate, Galo's canapés, Furnish & Fettle, Farrah's traditional sweet store, Palm Court Café, Lucy's Events catering, H2K skincare store and gifts, Rocca designer womenswear, Timberlake, Jenny's Tea Shop, Richard Grafton, Lear Fitness, Tennants Auctioneers, Major Tom's, The Montpellier Antiques Market, Theakston's Brewery, The Slug & Lettuce and Hales Bar.
