What are you opinions on relationships in mid-life? An event at the Hotel Du Vin in Harrogate is being hosted by Gabriel By Your Side which could be the first step in a new direction.

Whether you've been divorced, widowed or have never been in a long-term relationship, an event being held on Thursday 8th March 2018 is going to provide local people in the Harrogate district with a thought-provoking evening on the importance of long-term romantic relationships.

It's NOT a dating evening, this is NOT a match making service and it is NOT going to force you to confess your deepest emotions to a room full of strangers.

This IS going to show you that  you're not alone, this IS the chance to hear how relationship coaching service Gabriel By Your Side has helped other local people, and this IS going to be casual and relaxed with drinks and nibbles.

Feel free to bring a friend... heck, bring two! As Gabriel By Your Side says "more the merrier".

Find out more and register to attend about the Gabriel By Your Side Harrogate event at the Hotel Du Vin on Thursday 8th March 2018 at 7.30pm here.

So who is Gabriel?

"The name Gabriel is taken from one of the lead characters in Thomas Hardy’s novel “Far From The Madding Crowd”, Gabriel Oak. Gabriel goes about his life with quiet dignity and with a calmness that helps him appreciate the things in life that others don’t seem to. Despite bad luck, he draws strength from his experiences – he is strong in character – an oak like strength. He shows loyalty to the woman that he loves, despite her rejection of his first proposal of marriage, and is a confidante to both women and men in his world. His character provides a moral centre to Hardy’s novel.

Steve from Gabriel By Your Side

"Gabriel is your personal relationship coach – a professional, qualified and trained to support and guide you. Someone you can trust to do the right thing for you, to be there to listen and support…and sometimes challenge you! Gabriel is someone that is knowledgable about dating and the challenges of building relationships in mid life in the modern age. A bespoke service that helps you through the minefield that dating and relationship building can be in the 21st Century; working to guide you with all the tools available to you but with a real focus on building the human skills that may have become rusty since they were last used."

Beth Parsons from Stray FM's Health and Well Being Show talked to Steve from Gabriel By Your Side about the Harrogate event and why relationships are so important particularly in mid-life.
