A Burley-in-Wharfedale dad is raising money to fund life changing treatment for his 5-year-old son.

Drew Kendall's son, Gabriel, has cerebral palsy and has been selected to have an operation to help him walk.

The operation called Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR) is available at Leeds General Infirmary, but currently isn't funded on the NHS.

The family need £40,000 pounds for the operation to go ahead.

You can donate to their JustGiving page here.

This year's Party in the Park, organised by Salem URC, will take place in Burley in Wharfedale on June 17th, with all money raised going towards the Go Gabriel Go fundraising appeal.
