World class tennis coach helps Harrogate children

We all want to give our kids the best chance in life. But are we prepared to take on some of the coaching they need at home to become the next tennis superstar?

A recent session at the David Lloyd club in Harrogate encouraged parents to learn how to develop their kids' tennis skills. Who better to teach than Judy Murray, mother and coach of tennis superstar Andrew Murray?

The event involved teaching young tennis players some crucial skills using balloons and bean bags in place of a tennis ball. Parents were invited to join as David Lloyd staff and Judy promoted practicing at home, to supplement lessons kids learn on the court in coached sessions. After all, practice makes perfect!

The club recently underwent a £3.2million refurbishment,and now boasts 3 outdoor acrylic courts, 2 indoor acrylic courts, and 2 indoor carpet tennis courts for year-round practise.
