Skipton fire station is helping to raise awareness of a charity that helps children with cancer.

Firefighters have today unveiled a big sticker on the side of one of their fire engines, which supports the charity Candlelighters.

The charity helps 4-year-old William Bramley from Skipton who has acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

Watch manager Martyn Hughes said:

"William is a relative of one of our firefighters at Skipton so we've been doing a few charity events including open days and Ben Nevis walks.

"It's a charity that we're very passionate about. We've got links within the local community so it's about raising awareness on their behalf."
