What are the health benefits of massage?

Full body massage has a range of benefits including not only the emotionally de-stressing effects, but also physically as well.

The stimulation of lymph nodes, drainage of excess fluids  and reduction in the build up of toxins are all effects of massage which in turn can strengthen the immune system and improve circulation

What are the health benefits of improving your breathing techniques?

Improving breathing techniques can regulate blood pressure and help people who suffer from insomnia. There is also a range of calming effects which can be useful for those under stress. 

What is a breathing technique?

Try this...

Inhale for 8 seconds, hold for 4 seconds, exhale for 8 seconds. Repeat. 

Whilst this can be done as part of a treatment at David Lloyd Club, it's an easy enough thing to do at any time. But we'd hazard a guess it's more challenging that you might think...

What are the health benefits of aromatherapy?

Whether it's applied to the skin or inhaled, aromatherapy can either stimulate or relax the body. 

Ingredients such as black pepper, fresh lime, bergamot and geranium can help combat mental fatigue, anxiety and leave feelings of restoration and relaxation. 

Whilst sandalwood, chamomile and lavender can soothe, promote physical relaxation and release the stresses of the day
