One Harrogate company are placing an emphasis on the mental and physical wellness of their employees in order to create a happy and healthy workforce.

CNG are promoting physical and mental wellness in their employees through a number of perks to provide a happy and healthy workplace.

The Harrogate energy supplier offer their team a cash-back scheme on essentials such as glasses or dental care, as well as regular yoga classes and masseuses.

CNG have also adopted Perk-box, an online perk provider that rewards employees with online workouts, nutrition tips and days out, and are planning a company-wide Mindfulness Programme to reduce anxiety and stress in employees.

The company are leading the way when it comes to wellness in their employees and believe the happiness of their workforce is key to providing quality service to their customers. 

Abi Aldred, HR advisor at CNG, expressed the importance of employee wellness at the company: 

"We want the absolute best for our people when they're in the office and outside it with their family. We think of wellness as a huge piece of what we want to give someone when they work with us at CNG.

"The last thing we want is for people to think their life pauses when they go to work, then as soon as they walk out the door can press play on their life again.

"We don't want anyone to feel that feeling of dread when they walk through the doors and relief when they walk out."

Who are CNG?

CNG, or Contract Natural Gas, are an energy supplier based in Harrogate who supply gas for commercial businesses.

The company has a large portfolio of varied customers, with clients ranging from restaurant chains to small boutiques.

Working from their office on Victoria Avenue, Harrogate, CNG started in 1994 and are celebrating their 25th anniversary this year.
