Vinyasa yoga, a flexibilty class and 'Strictly Come Dancing' themed dance due to arrive in Harrogate.

  • Three new health and wellbeing courses will be starting at Rossett Adult Learning.
  • Suitable for beginners or more experienced students.
  • Keeping fit, improving mobility and mental health benefits are amongst the advantages of the new classes.

A new program of daytime and evening courses at Rossett Adult Learning in Harrogate has been announced for the Summer Term 2019 which starts in April.

And amongst them three particularly special courses which could help you feel better and more healthy in time for the Summer.

NEW Feel flexible and move easily

Tuesdays 1-2pm / starting on 30th April 2019 / running for 10 weeks

"This is a class for people who are maybe a little nervous or shy about going into an established group class. Maybe people who have had a recent injury, an illness, a fall.

"It is there to enhance mobility, build strength and work on flexibility."

NEW Vinyasa and Dance Yoga

Thursdays 1.45-2.45pm / starting on 2nd May 2019 / running for 11 weeks

Mondays 5.55 - 6.55pm / starting on 29th April / running for 10 weeks

"Vinyasa is a style of yoga that originated from Hatha yoga.

"In vinyasa you flow from one pose to the other, so while in Hatha you hold a pose and you get to feel the pose, in vinyasa it's more of a flow so you move from one pose to another.

"It's more a dance like movement."

NEW Dance yourself fit 'Strictly' style (no partner required)

Wednesdays 8-9pm / starting on 1st May 2019 / running for 10 weeks

"If you like Strictly, and you haven't got a dance partner this probably could work for you.

"It's going to be an exercise class based on the Strictly moves."

Steph Sartin, dance teacher at Rossett Adult Learning
