The Vet Hospital Promoted by
The Vet Hospital

How much do you love your pet? If something happened to them would you have enough to cover the vet bill?

  • When a four-year-old cat damaged its eye and fractured its jaw after a car accident - £1,800.
  • When the mastiff dog swallowed a snooker ball - over £1.000.
  • Just having an X-Ray -  up to £300
  • Pet Chemotherapy - up to £5,000
  • An overnight stay at the vets - up to £500 per night
  • Surgery - on average £1,500

Have you got that kind of cash going spare should anything happen to your furry friend resulting in treatment at the vets?

A quarter of pet owners have pet insurance, but what do the experts recommend? Stray FM's Beth Parsons went to talk to Bob Partridge at The Vet Hospital off Skipton Road in Harrogate to find out more on the Home and Garden Show.
