We've all had that point when we feel like we need more sleep. Lack of sleep can be caused by a variety of reasons:

  • Aches and pains
  • Too much noise
  • Too much light
  • Poor bedding
  • Annoying partners
  • Small children
  • Pets
  • Stress

There are probably lots more too!

If you've recognised any of these you'll be pleased to know that National Sleep Day is coming on Thursday 15th March, and it brings issues like the above to the fore. Lack of sleep has been blamed for so many other problems in people's lives, so how can you improve the quality of sleep?

Skipton Bed & Sofa Centre is hosting a special event on National Sleep Day where those questions could be answered. Featuring experts from the Sleep Council (which, handily, is based in Skipton) and experts in hypnotherapy and accupuncture who are there to answer your questions and give tips and advice on how to make your bed a positive place to be.

Those very same experts spoke to Stray FM's Home and Garden Show to explain what you can expect from the event and share a few top tips.
