The trend of making the most of your old furniture is on the up. But going further than a lick of paint, Luxor Upholstery is taking upcycling to the next level.

Whether it's a precious inherited heirloom, an old loved piece you just can bear to let go of, or you'd just rather not pay out for a brand new piece of furniture when the old one is just in need of a bit of TLC, the recent trend in interior design has undoubtedly been focused around making the most of what you already have.

And as anyone who has ever bought a tin of chalk paint might know, slapping a fresh coat of colour on and discovering a whole new love for that tired old table or cupboard can be easier than you thought!

But to take upcycling to a brave new level, you might want to call in the experts...

Stray FM has been hearing from Luxor Upholstery.
