Independent supermarket Booths have launched their latest wine event, giving customers discounted wine and champagne as well as weekly wine tasting.

  • Booths' Wine Event launched on Wednesday 21st August, running until Tuesday 24th September.
  • The store are offering 25% off selected wines and champagnes throughout the event, as well as 5% off purchases of six bottles of wine all year round.
  • Booths are also holding weekly wine tasting sessions.

Through specialist picks from their Wine Buyers, Booths are showcasing their vast wine and champagne selection throughout the event with their friendly team on hand to help customers pick the perfect bottle:

"We have the knowledge to be able to help most people... It's very difficult to say what I'd recommend, as it's always down to the customer's tastes. We have great deals across the board - red, white, rose, sparkling, an unbelievable array of wines."

Jan Osinski, Wine Specialist at Booths Ilkley

The independent supermarket, who have stores in Ilkley, Ripon and Settle, regularly hold wine events throughout the year, catering both to those who are well-versed in wines and those who are less confident.

Booths launched their wine event on Wednesday 21st August, with discounted wine and champagne deals and weekly wine tastings!

Not just for wine connoisseurs, the wine tastings give people a chance to try and learn about a variety of different wines from different countries and vineyards according to specialist Jan:

"There will be someone well-versed in the wines standing by to talk about them and to explain them to people. It's not just the wine we talk about, it's the region, the vineyard and how the wine has been made."

With different weekly wines on offer during their tasting event, Booths Ilkley kicked off the event with an Aperol Spritz and are looking ahead to an American chardonnay, a Spanish Cava and a Portuguese red next weekend.

If that wasn't enough, we're also running a competition with Booths that could bag you a 'Best of Booths' hamper, showcasing all the fantastic quality products they have to offer.
