Booths Ripon began their Christmas celebrations in style with their annual Christmas Extravaganza!

The family-friendly event saw a number of stations for children to enjoy and a treasure hunt to keep them occupied while parents got into some much needed Christmas shopping!

The usual team of Booths food and wine experts were also on hand to help customers make the right choices, as well as do some tasting of festive snacks and drinks.

Children were able to decorate their own biscuits to eat or to hang on their Christmas tree at home!

Shop Assistant Sarah was in charge of the biscuit decorating station, where children were adding icing to festive-shaped ginger biscuits.

Having only joined Booths a month beforehand, Sarah expressed how much she has enjoyed her time with the supermarket:

"I think the ethos of Booths is fantastic. It's so welcoming and it's such a good vibe to work here."

Licensing Specialist at Booths Ripon Steve Ellis was on hand to give his expertise on some of his favourites among Booths' wine selection.

Booths also welcomed the Rotary Club of Ripon Rowels to their Christmas Extravaganza, who brought along a very special guest in the form of Santa himself!

The club were collecting donations at the front of the store and welcoming families into their festive grotto, where Santa was waiting with a few words of advice and some chocolate goodies:

"The children of Ripon are very well behaved and I really enjoy coming each year!

"Ripon Rowels are here to help raise some money for people who are having a hard time of life at the moment."
