Rossett's online courses so far have seen classes delivered by experts in their field, including Gillian Hovell, AKA ‘The Muddy Archaeologist’, Jackie Depelle, an expert in Family History, and Alain Le Bourdon giving an insight into French Culture.

One popular course even delivers a guide to Podcasting and YouTube by Haydn Rees Jones, who has his own Podcast called Pop Culture Gamers, whilst other new classes include archaeology, short story writing, mindfulness, and a men’s only Pilates class.

Rossett Adult Learning manager Melissa Horberry said:

“Feedback from students about the initial trial sessions has been very positive, with many saying how much they have appreciated the courses, been surprised at their ability to manage technology, and enjoyed the opportunity to carry on learning.”

The Virtual Summer Programme courses will be available during June and July for five days a week at various times, including daytime and evening classes, and new students are welcome.
