Fire at derelict building in Ripon

Firefighters have tackled a blaze overnight at a derelict building in Ripon.

Two crews used breathing apparatus and hose reels to tackle the fire on North Road.

The incident comes just two days after a fire at a disused property on The Oval in Harrogate.

On that occasion, rubbish set alight inside the building was thought to be the cause.
