Woman hit by lorry in Harewood

Emergency services have been called to a serious collision in Harewood. 

West Yorkshire Police say the incident involved a lorry and a female pedestrian, and happened at around 4.00pm. 

Emergency services closed Harewood Avenue at the junction with Moor Lane to deal with the collision, causing traffic to build up in the area during the afternoon rush hour.

The road reopened at 8.05pm.

Police say the extent of the woman's injuries are currently unknown.
