Police cars attacked and damaged in Thirsk

Two police vehicles have been damaged while officers were attending an incident in Thirsk.

The damage occurred between 12.20pm and 1.20pm on Wednesday, 19 April while the vehicles, a car and a van, were parked on Topcliffe Road.

The rear windows were smashed and the body work was scratched and covered in egg.

Anyone who has information which will assist officers in establishing the full circumstances surrounding the incident is urged to contact police on 101, selecting option 2, and asking for TC Katie Shaw.
