Fancy working on the buses?

36 bus

6:58pm 17th August 2017

Budding bus drivers are getting a chance to work on Harrogate and Ripon's flagship 36 service.

The Harrogate Bus Company has organised a special event for potential new recruits at its depot in Starbeck on Friday.

They can head down between 11am and 2.30pm to meet drivers, the training team and managers, before hopping aboard one of the buses.

Anyone who already holds a PCV licence and has their documents with them will be able to take one of the 36 double-deckers out for a spin.

People who have an ordinary driving licence will be able to get behind the wheel of a driver training bus.

The Harrogate Bus Company says that "only the best" are recruited for 'Team 36' and must demonstrate customer service skills "nothing short of exemplary".

So, if you've got what it takes, get on board!
