North Yorkshire Police have arrested 19 drink or drug drivers just 6 days into their Christmas crackdown campaign. 

North Yorkshire Police launched this year's Christmas crackdown on drink and drug-driving on 1st December 2017.

Operation Attention

'Operation Attention' will run throughout the festive period and up until 1st January.

Nineteen Arrests

North Yorkshire Police are extremely disappointed in the number of arrests made since the start of December 2017.

North Yorkshire Police are asking people to ensure they do their bit to make the roads as safe as possible this Christmas and not become the next statistic.
