Burley Library spreads some Christmas cheer

People facing Christmas on their own in Burley-in-Wharfedale are being invited to a special party.

A team of volunteers have decided to open Burley Library from 2pm until 4pm on Christmas Day.

Visitors will be treated to tea and coffee, mince pies and Christmas cake, as well as board games and live music from Otley singer Carys Crow.

Any food which is left over will be donated to Leeds homeless charity St George's Crypt.
