Could music be beneficial for people with dementia?

Around 850,000 people in the UK live with different types of the condition.

It is expected that number will rise to 1 million by 2025 and 2 million by 2051.

It's now been reported that music could be beneficial for people living with dementia. 

It's all come about after the Alzheimer's Society developed a programme called Singing for the Brain.

Dementia Forward's version - Singing for Fun - is proving to be a hit too according to CEO Jill Quinn:
