North Yorkshire Fish and Chip shops celebrate success in UK awards - Millers Haxby

Published by The Stray FM News Team at 1:50pm 26th January 2018.

The award ceremony for the 2018 National Fish & Chip Awards was held at the Royal Lancaster in London and it was a great day for North Yorkshire.

The family run business in Haxby has been named the best in the UK beating competition from nine other regional winners.

Nick Miller runs the shop with his father David and judges were impressed with the separate frying area to cater for allergen-free diets and its gluten-free, halal and vegetarian products.

Nick says it means everything to them and they are so proud.
