Two taken to hospital following collision near Ripon

Two people have been taken to hospital following a collision near Ripon this morning.

The B6265 Studley Road was closed fro several hours at Studley Park, near Fountains Abbey, after a crash involving two cars.

Emergency services were contacted at 7.16 am.

Two people taken to Harrogate District Hospital by road ambulance with one person's injuries described as serious but non-life threatening.

The road has now been reopened.
