Cat shot by air gun in Skipton

A cat has been shot by an air gun in Skipton around the Carleton road area.

It happened on Tuesday 6 February between the hours of 8am and 4.45pm. 

Sadly, the cat known as Tara, lost her life. 

The family have said they are devastated. 

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident. 

They are urging people with any information regarding the incident to contact them on 101 using the reference number 12180021746.
