Travel disruption as more snow hits Yorkshire
Just when you thought that Spring was finally here, the snow has returned to parts of Yorkshire this morning.
Heavy snow has caused widespread disruption, with many schools now closed for the day or having opened late.

A number of major roads were slow-moving earlier, while minor routes were described as 'impassable'.
Police in Harrogate urged motorists not to travel unless necessary:

Public transport was affected.
Connexions announced that they were stopping all services in Harrogate, while passengers on the 36 bus, between Leeds, Harrogate and Ripon experienced long delays:
