Travel disruption as more snow hits Yorkshire

Spring put on hold as wintry weather returns.

Just when you thought that Spring was finally here, the snow has returned to parts of Yorkshire this morning.

Heavy snow has caused widespread disruption, with many schools now closed for the day or having opened late.

School bus services were also suspended after vehicles started getting stuck:

Connexions announced that they were stopping all services in Harrogate, while passengers on the 36 bus, between Leeds, Harrogate and Ripon experienced  long delays:
