LIVE: Great Yorkshire Show 2018, Day 3

Great Yorkshire Show

Published by Lisa Darvill at 9:17am 12th July 2018. (Updated at 4:26pm 12th July 2018)

If you need a distraction from the football, there's lots going on at The Great Yorkshire Show!

It's the third and final day already.

The famous Cock O'The North Championship gets underway at around 4pm. There's also the exciting Great British Pole Climbing Championships to look forward to later this afternoon.

But one person who won't be there today is Environment Secretary Michael Gove. He was meant to be making an appearance but has pulled out. We can't think why......

4:26pm

Now THAT is FAST!

4:24pm

Congrats to this crazy lot!

12:09pm

There's lots going on in the main ring today at the show, including the popular Cock O'The North Championships later.

Before that though there's the Scurry Championship. How exciting does it look?!

10:58am

Who doesn't love a bit of cheese?!

10:13am

Now we think this is a great idea..

North Yorkshire Police have unveiled 'Trauma Teddies' at the show, which their officers will use to comfort children.

They've been donated by Killinghall WI. And aren't they cute?!
