New listening figures out this morning show Stray FM remains the number one commercial radio station in Harrogate, Craven and Wharfedale.

Numbers from the industry body RAJAR indicate the station now reaches 55,000 listeners every week, that's 27% of adults in the area.

In total, the Stray FM audience is consuming a whopping 375,000 hours of the station's output.

Commenting on the figures, Stray FM Content Director Nick Hancock said:

"We are absolutely thrilled that even more people are enjoying listening to Stray FM!

"The summer has been full of so many wonderful events from the Great Yorkshire show to Skipton Sheep Day, we've had such a great time not only attending them but also reflecting them on the radio.

"We love the area and we love all of our listeners too so this result is the icing on the cake!"
