Attempted burglary in Crosshills area of Craven

Police are appealing for witnesses and information about an attempted burglary that happened in the Crosshills area of Craven.

It happened at Heathcote Antiques, Skipton Road, Crosshills between 12.09am and 12.11am this morning.

The offenders used a large boulder to smash a window in an attempt to gain entry.

No entry was made and the offenders made off on a scooter or moped.

Police want the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

Anyone with information that could assist the investigation should contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting reference number 12180209495 - or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
