Ex-employee of Harrogate cancer charity charged with fraud

An ex-employee of a Harrogate-based cancer charity has been charged with fraud. 

  • Patricia Helen Robertshaw, an ex-employee of Yorkshire Cancer Research, is charged with fraud against the charity
  • The 42-year-old from Barrowford in Lancashire appeared at Harrogate Magistrates Court this morning
  • She is charged with four counts of fraud by false representation 
  • She also faces a charge of making a false instrument with intent it be accepted as genuine 

Mrs Robertshaw worked for the charity between 2015 and 2017. 

She was granted unconditional bail and is due before York Crown Court on 2nd January.
