Multiple car crash on the A59, Harrogate

  • The accident is caused delays for motorists

Three cars have been involved in a crash on the A59 at Green Hammerton.

It happened at 7.42am.

Not believed to be any serious injuries, police confirm.

The road is now cleared.

 

Earlier we reported:

An accident on the A59 at Green Hammerton near Harrogate is causing traffic delays this morning.

It's believed an accident between multiple vehicles took place around 7.45am.

A diversion is in place for drivers heading to York - they are being sent onto the B6265.

Police are on the scene.
