Tributes are being paid to former Harrogate Town chairman Bill Fotherby who has passed away.

The 88-year-old died on Tuesday after suffering from a short illness.

Fotherby held the role of Harrogate Town chairman for 11 years, from 2000 to 2011.

Before moving to Harrogate Town, Fotherby was the former Leeds United Chairman and Managing Director.
