A female cyclist, found unconscious on Barden Road, Eastby, has been taken to hospital.

  • At around 12pm today, police responded to reports of a female cyclist found unconscious on Barden Road, Eastby
  • She was taken to Airedale Hospital by ambulance
  • The road reopened just after 2pm
  • Enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the incident

North Yorkshire Police said they were called by the ambulance service to a report of a female cyclist unconscious in the road at at about midday today.

The woman was taken to Airedale Hospital by ambulance.

Enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The road reopened just after 2pm.
