A large piece of land art has been created by students at Harrogate High School as part of the UCI Road World Championship celebrations.

  • The land art is being created by students at Harrogate High School.
  • It's art that that is made directly into the landscape.
  • The art is to promote environmental messages.

Land art is art that is made directly into the landscape.

The message reads ‘Cycle and Recycle’.

The ‘Harrogate High Welcomes the World’ project aims to promote environmental messages of recycling, as well as to save the bees, plant more trees, and clean our seas.

The giant artwork is crafted out of recycled materials and co-ordinated by Harrogate High School’s Eco Warrior group. Students from Year 7 to 10 have taken part.
