Christmas has come early for a Harrogate charity - thanks to a town centre Harrogate hotel.

  • The DoubleTree by Hilton Harrogate Majestic Hotel & Spa is giving up space for the market,
  • The market is being held on 1st December from 10am and 4pm.
  • There will be craft and gift stalls and carol singing.

As part of its support for the local community, the DoubleTree by Hilton Harrogate Majestic Hotel & Spa is “donating” the space for Harrogate Hospital and Community Charity’s Pop Up Christmas Market.

Taking place between 10am and 4pm on 1st December, the festive event will feature festive and non-festive independent craft and gift stalls.  There will also be carol singing and Father Christmas in his grotto,

Matthew Hole, DoubleTree by Hilton Harrogate Majestic Hotel & Spa General Manager, said:

“For more than a century, the Majestic has played a prominent role within the town, giving employment to many local people and significantly benefitting the local economy.

“In return, we want to give something back to the area, and one way we do this is by supporting charities and good causes.

“Harrogate Hospital and Community Charity is one such organisation that we are delighted to support, hence us ‘donating’ the space for them to stage their first ever Christmas market.

“And, following the completion of a major £15m makeover, it will also give us an opportunity to show off our newly refurbished facilities, including Frederick’s Bar and Piano Lounge, Carter’s Champagne Bar and Grill and the newly-opened Harrogate Spa.”
