Weather warning for Harrogate, Craven and Wharfedale

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for the Stray FM area for most of tomorrow.

  • The yellow warning for rain is in place for today. 
  • Heavy rain could lead to flooding and travel disruption.
  • The warning covers most of the north of England.  

They say persistent rain could lead to some flooding and disruption.

The warning covers much of northern England, and comes into force at  4am on Saturday, and continues until midnight.

The Met Office says this means:

  • Flooding of a few homes and businesses is likely
  • Bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer
  • Spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer
  • Some interruption to power supplies and other services likely
