Conservative Andrew Jones retains his Conservative seat. 

  • Conservative Andrew Jones has held his Harrogate and Knaresborough seat 
  • He won by 9,000 votes 
  • The Liberal Democrats came second  
  • Mr Jones held his seat with over 29,000 votes overall 

Andrew Jones has held his seat in Harrogate and Knaresborough, winning with over 29,000 votes.

He had a majority of 9,000. 

In the 2017 election Andrew Jones won with a majority of 18,168. 

Here are the results in full:

Andrew Jones - The Conservative Party - 29,962 

Judith Rogerson - The Liberal Democrats - 20,287 

Mark Sewards - Labour Party - 5,480 

Kieron George, the Yorkshire Party - 1,208 

Turnout was 73%
