Car collides with house near Steeton

A man's been taken to hospital after a car left the road and collided with the front wall of a house near Steeton

  • It's happened on the B6265 Skipton Road
  • The road was closed between Station Road and St John's Road (Low Utley) 
  • It has now re-opened
  • A silver Ford Focus left the road and hit the front wall of a house 
  • The driver has been taken to hospital with serious injuries
  • It's thought no one in the house was injured 

Skipton Road was shut between Station Road in Steeton and St Johns Road in Low Utley for most of the morning, however it has now re-opened. 

At about 1.25 am today (Thursday) a silver Ford Focus traveling towards Skipton along the B6265 Skipton Road left the road close to Yew Bank Lodge and collided with the front wall of a house.

Police say no one in the house was injured. However, the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 26-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
