Flood risk continues across Yorkshire after Saturday's flooding

A number of flood warnings are still in place as many people clear up after heavy rain on Saturday.

  • 14 flood warnings remain in force across Harrogate, Craven and Wharfedale as of Sunday morning
  • Many places saw flooding on Saturday after the River Wharfe burst it's banks
  • There's a yellow weather warning for more rain on the way for Monday

Harrogate, Craven and Wharfedale is being hit by heavy rain and flooding for the third weekend in a row.

On Saturday, a number of towns and villages suffered flooding including Ilkley and Morton-on-Swale.

A number of flood warnings and flood alerts are in place on Sunday morning across our area.

Although the rain has now eased, there's a yellow weather warning for more rain to come on Monday.
