The victim, in her 70s, was robbed outside Santander on Wednesday evening.

  • A woman has been pushed to the floor in a mugging at a cash machine outside a bank in Harrogate town centre.
  • It happened at Santander on Cambridge Road at around 5.50pm on Wednesday evening.
  • Police are asking for the public's help to find a man in a blue jacket who ran away from the scene.

A woman in her 70s has been robbed and pushed to the floor in a mugging in Harrogate town centre.

It happened just after she took money out of a cash machine at Santander on Cambridge Road, at around 5.50pm on Wednesday evening.

Police are trying to trace a man in a blue jacket who was seen running away from the area at the time.

They're keen to hear from anyone who can identify him, or who has CCTV or dashcam recordings.
