IN PICTURES: Over 350 tractors took part in the Knaresborough tractor run

  • An annual tractor run in Knaresborough saw over 350 tractors take part.
  • They drove, in convoy, from Harrogate to Knaresborough, passing through Burton Leonard, Pateley Bridge and Birstwith.
  • Every year, the event raises money for Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Over 350 tractors took to the streets of the Harrogate district over the weekend for the annual Knaresborough tractor run.

Organised by the Knaresborough Young Farmers, the event is in memory of Mike Spink, who died in an accident in New Zealand in 2017.

Each year, the tractor run raises money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

The event continues to grow in popularity - with 300 tractors taking part in 2019.

This year though, 360 tractors were involved.

Due to the size of the event, the start location was changed from Knaresborough to the Great Yorkshire Showground.

Just look at all these tractors (and at the time of the picture being taken, not all had arrived):

Many young tractor enthusiasts cheered on the convoy:
